Col | The Campground Host Echidna

__

Meet Col, a 15cm heirloom Australian echidna doll from the Rugaroo collection.

After years travelling every corner of Australia with Riva, Col found the one place he never wanted to leave. Together they built Billabong Bend Campground, where travellers stop for one night and somehow end up staying for a week.

Every morning before the campground stirs, Col quietly heads down the river in his trusty old tinnie, hoping today's the day the barra are biting. Some mornings he catches one. Most mornings he doesn't. Either way, he always comes back with another story.

Nobody is entirely sure how many barra Col has actually caught, because according to him, every single one was "about this big."

He collects the little bits and pieces campers leave behind, tucking them safely away because "they might come in handy one day." Ask Col where the fish are biting and you'll get a twenty-minute story, three fishing tips, and directions to a secret spot nobody else can find.

"Should've seen the barra I caught up near Kununurra."
"The fishing used to be even better."
"Pull up a chair, mate."

You should've been here yesterday.

A nostalgic addition to any Rugaroo collection, this heirloom echidna toy is made for curious little adventurers, budding fishermen, and storytellers with big imaginations. A heartfelt gift for children, grey nomads, grandfathers, and anyone who's ever stretched the truth about the size of a fish.

Pairs perfectly with Riva, the echidna stuffed doll and The Tinnie dollhouse scaled boat (sold separately).
